Ahlus-Sunnah consider Erdogan to be a ruler according to the Sharee'ah - Shaykh Ahmad as-Subay'ee [excerpt]

Shaykh Ahmad as-Subay'ee حفظه الله تعالى said:

"So they [Ahlus-Sunnah] consider President Erdogan to be a legitimate ruler according to the Sharee’ah, having the right of As-Sami' wat-Taa'ah, & leaving obedience to him & rebelling against him is forbidden, & it is forbidden to criticize him openly, even if he is affiliated with the jamaa’ah of Ikhwaanul-Muslimeen who are well-known to the People of Knowledge for bid’ah.  So this jamaa’ah is criticized for it’s bid’a, & President Erdogan, it is not allowed to criticize him openly.

So O Allaah!  How beautiful is the da’wah of the Sunnah & how complete, in it’s thoroughness, it’s mercy, it’s justice, & it’s beauty & it’s richness, & that it is from the greatest reasons of goodness, righteousness & rectification.

(O Allaah! Make us & our brothers from those who adhere to it & practice it, with truthfulness & sincerity, & complete for us Your Favor by increase in Knowledge & Action upon it.)"

The coup-attempt in Turkey & the disgrace of ahlul-bid'a - Shaykh Ahmad as-Subay'ee [excerpt]

Shaykh Ahmad as-Subay'ee  حفظه الله said:

"The latest event (the attempted coup in Turkey) exposed the despicability of ahlul-bid’a, & their opportunism, & the amount of what is in their chests from innovated desires & oppression.  So (with them) there is no legitimate ruler except for one from their ahzaab, & no explicit, clear positions or opinions unless it is in the benefit of their jamaa’aat.  Rather the ugliness of bid’ah has brought them to ruling by other than what Allaah revealed by making  the polls & ballot boxes the only measurement for the rule of the ruler or that he is the legitimate ruler.  And what is understood from this is that all of the rulers not elected through elections are not legitimate rulers. And they know that these polls are a part of the integrated system which is democracy, & it is ruling by other than what Allaah (عزّ وجل) revealed. And it is (the exact same thing) that they used to declared the rulers to be kuffaar for - for decades - & called them tawaagheet (false deities) because of that, & they know for a surety that all of their knowledge & da’wah-based efforts that they expended for decades were to make this system legitimate by distortion & deviation so that it will become from Islaam or not be in opposition to Islaam, & all of these were failed efforts in front of all of the Muslims – except for their followers."

Ahlul-Bid'a hide themselves behind the Imaams of Ahlus-Sunnah in order to spread their bid'ah - Shaykh Rabee' حفظه الله تعالى

Ash-Shaykh, al-‘Allaamah (Dr.) Rabee’ bin Haadee al-Madkhalee - حفظه الله تعالى - said in his "Adh-Dharee’ah illa Bayaani Maqaasid Kitaabish-Sharee’ah" (2/101):

“This way is from the ways & techniques of the people of bid’a & fitan, it is a must that they conceal themselves behind a personality from the prominent, well-known personalities.  So the Qadariyyah hid behind Al-Hasan [Al-Basree], & they wrote, spread & authored treatises falsely ascribing the bid’ah of denying Al-Qadar (Allaah's Pre-Decree) to Al-Hasan & he was not from them.

And the Khawaarij used to conceal (themselves) behind another tremendous personality, Aboo ash-Sha’thaa’a Jaabir bin Zayd [1], one of the major students of Ibn ‘Abbaas, (from) the major Fuqahaa’.  The Khawaarij disguised themselves with him.

So this is from the tricks of the people of bid’a, because their bid’a does not spread if they don’t conceal themselves behind the a’immah of Islaam.  And many of the people do this.  The Qutbiyyah would not have spread except by concealing themselves behind Ibn Taymiyyah & Ibnul-Qayyim, & Ibn Baaz, Al-Albaanee & Ibn ‘Uthaymeen, & other than them from the respected personalities that are accepted by the people of the world.  So they say: ‘we are students of Ibn Baaz, we are upon the manhaj of the Salaf, & from the students of Al-Albaanee, we are students of Ibn ‘Uthaymeen’, & these people pretend that those Imaams are with them.  So their tricks fool many of the youth who love knowledge, & love the ‘Ulamaa’, & love Islaam & love the Haqq, but the tricks of those people deceive many of the people, so they fall into their snare.”

[1]  Jaabir bin Zayd al-Azdee al-Basree, famous by his kunya Aboo ash-Sha’thaa’a (d.93H), from the Taabi’een, a trustworthy narrator, a faqeeh. Refer to Taqreeb at-Tah-dheeb (1/136 #863)

How do you know that your child has become khaarijee & is ready to join Daa'ish (ISIS)?

How do you know that your child has become khaarijee & is preparing to join Daa'ish (ISIS)?

~  Ash-Shaykh Ahmad as-Subay'ee  ~

1. He begins to practice the Deen suddenly (without showing any previous signs of interest in practicing & carrying out the rites & obligations of Islaam).

2. He shows concern & dedication towards worship & the Qur'aan, but you don't see him showing concern for true, correct knowledge & the Sunnah.

3. He meets & mixes with people who are not known (to you) or those who are well-known for Takfeer (declaring other Muslims to be disbelievers) from those who manifest "shaykhness" (traits of being a religious authority or person of knowledge).

4. He declares the Muslim ruler to be a kaafir or does not believe that his being the ruler is correct according to the Sharee'ah & (nor does he believe in) the obligation of giving him bay'ah & obeying him.

5. He does not denounce or criticize the jamaa'aat al-Islaamiyyah (the innovated Islaamic political parties & groups), except for their ties to the state (government) & their political activism only.

6. He is not repulsed & disgusted by the sources of Takfeer. Rather he might take from them (as sources of knowledge), like Sayyid Qutb & other than him.

So if you see these signs, knowledge-based or (signs in his) behavior, then begin to talk to him directly & clearly with Sunnah & denouncing & rejecting the bid'ah of khurooj, which is the base & background of the Khawaarij.  So if you see from him stubbornness or hardheadedness, then hasten him to some of the students of knowledge who are upon the Sunnah, far away from the (innovated) jamaa'aat, in order to rush in trying to purify him from this bid'ah.

And it is incumbent here that you beware of some affairs that could possibly be a reason for his falling into fitnah & being tried & afflicted. From them:

1. That you put down & criticize his practicing the religion & his striving to carry out acts of obedience & acts of goodness.

2. That you describe him with being too strict in his holding on to the Sunnah of the Messenger صلى الله عليه و على آله و سلم.

3. That you find fault with most of those who are steadfast (in practicing the religion) generally or the like of that, from which he may understand or feel that you don't honor & respect Allaah, nor His Sharee'ah & His prescribed rites, for indeed, that will (only) increase him in evil & fitnah.

4.  That you demonstrate to him your faith & goodness of your Islaam, & that you be a good, righteous role model to him. So you accompany him to the congregational prayers in the masjid, & you read the Speech of Allaah, the Qur'aan with Him, & you cooperate with him & help him in doing good (for indeed this will extinguish the spark of bid'ah from him, إن شاء الله).

5. That you remedy the issue like how is described in the clear, apparent ahaadeeth of the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه و على آله و سلم regarding the Khawaarij & that it is an issue of Sunnah & bid'ah, & Haqqbaatil (don't drag your feet by beginning to approach the issue as some kind of need or a psychological disorder).

And Allaah is the One Asked that He protect us & the Muslims from bid'aahwaa', in particularly the bid'ah of the Khawaarij, & that He protect us from evil & fitan.

The 'Aqeedah of Ahlus-Sunnah as narrated from Al-Imaam 'Aamir bin Saraaheel ash-Sha'bee (رحمه الله تعالى)

The 'Aqeedah of Ahlus-Sunnah as narrated from Al-Imaam 'Aamir bin Saraaheel ash-Sha'bee (رحمه الله تعالى) *:

Al-Imaam Aboo Bakr bin al-Khallaal mentioned in his "Sunnah" (1/79 #8):
Ad-Dooree narrated to us:
'Abdullaah bin Moosaa narrated to us:
Aboo Kibraan narrated to us:   "I heard ash-Sha'bee say: 'Have love for the household & family of your Prophet & do not be a raafidhee; & act by the Qur'aan & do not be a harooree (khaarijee, from the Harooriyyah); & know that whatever reaches you from good then it is from Allaah, & whatever reaches you from evil then it is from yourself, & do not be a qadaree; & obey the Imaam even if he is an Abyssinian slave.'"

* it is reported that he died between 103-105 after Hijrah - رحمه

In this 'Aqeedah is:
  • Love for the Companions & not abusing or degrading them like the Raafidhah
  • Acting upon the Qur'aan,  applying it & understanding it by the Sunnah in opposition to the Khawaarij
  • Belief in Al-Qadar, its good & its bad, its sweet and its bitter, in opposition to the Qadariyyah who deny & reject the Qadar of Allaah
  • Hearing & obeying the Muslim ruler, in opposition to the Khawaarij
